Poems about Change in English

(1)

One by One Change

To bring a change in this world
We have to start with us
Behavior we expect from others
We have to develop with in us.

First remove the darkness from your heart
It’s the only way to start
Then take this light to others
and Try to change your brothers.

When we will change ourselves
The world will start changing
When we will become a lamp
The world will start illuminating.

This one by one change
will make the difference
This is the right approach
that will truly make sense.

Be a Change

We want desperately
to do something to change the world
But we can only change who we are,
With our little efforts and endeavor
We can certainly go far.

We need to think without greed
A big tree always comes from one little seed
Present yourself as an improved person
and You will affect your family, town and nation.

For the violence, suffering, starvation and hate
Start with one person before it’s too late
Visit a sick and feed a hungry
What you will do with one
will make a way for others definitely.

Be a role model and set a standard for others
This way you can motivate your brothers
Be a kind of person you admire and respect
Be a change and the world will positively react.

We all want to see good changes in this world. But for changing the world first we have to change ourselves. So for every change we want to see in this world, first we have to see inside us. Feel free to add your views about these poems on change.

Poem on Anger in English

Side Effects of Anger

Anger is the most destructive emotion
It comes like an uninvited guest
and takes away our peace and rest.

It changes a person completely
It makes him
violent, aggressive and unreasonable
and burns the person internally.

Anger is the form of madness
It destroys the prudence.
A person ruled by anger becomes insane
There is only to lose, nothing to gain.

It burns the love in relationships
and creates the wall of enmity
It destroys the happiness in its insanity.

Some walls break down
with the inclination of both sides
But some walls never fall
because of our ego and pride.

The cracks which are filled
they always have stains
The side effects of anger
always remain.

Positive emotions like love, compassion, forgiveness and kindness bring happiness in our life and the people around us. Whereas negative emotions like hate, anger, envy, possessiveness and suspicion bring sadness and restlessness. Anger is the most destructive emotion. We get angry when our expectations are not met. When we are in anger we lose our self control and behave in an unnatural manner. Even a sensible person becomes insane when he/she is controlled by anger. In anger whatever we say and whatever we do left us with regrets only. Sometimes we lose a person very close to us forever. So we should know how to manage our anger. As it’s the question of our health, happiness and dignity. Breathing deeply, reverse counting, drinking water, distract the mind from the cause of the anger, meditation, prayer all are the ways to manage the anger. Let’s conquer the anger.

Poem on Wind in English

I Am The wind

I am the wind
The human boundaries can't stop me
I am free to flow in every direction
and no force can turn me.

I am brave enough to say whatever is in my heart
The walls of hate can't stop my path
I am free to roam in the cool sky
With birds and trees I enjoy my fly.

Cherishing the wings of butterflies
Swinging on the branches of flowers
A little fragrance and giggling
I spread from earth to stars.

I allow the kites to go high
I blow the birds about the sky
I am power, love and grace
I can be at any place.

I cause the change
I create the waves
I can push the heavy clouds on mountains
and can turn them into storm and rain.

As long as you will remain imprisoned
in the cage of hatred and envy
Till then there will be no difference
between your freedom and slavery.

To feel the freedom you have to be air
To fill the cracks of hearts
You need to love and care.

I, You and God all are the same
One flows into another and between us
No difference remains.

Through the wind I just tried to give the message of love, unity, equality and freedom. Basically we all are same then why these walls of caste, color, creed, region etc. We should learn the lesson of equality and unbiasedness from nature, sun, moon, birds, animals, breeze etc. Feel free to add your views about this poem on wind.

Valentine's Day Poem in English

My Valentine

You are the one who makes me whole
You are the one who touches my soul.
You are the one who gives me hopes
With one I wish life never stops.

You are the one with whom i share
Happiness, sorrow and all my fears.
You are the one who wipes my tears
The one with I always wish to be near.

You are the reason I want to live
I feel safe with the care you give.
You are the reason my heart beats
You are the one who makes me complete.

You are my present, future and my past
With you I wish this journey never lasts.
You are the one who always remains at my side
Such a true friend and lovely valentine.

You are the one I always need
My true love my best friend indeed.
You are the one I wanna touch
O my dear! I love you so much.

Your love is constant and unconditional
Within my heart your place is most special
I never knew love could be so real
Until I get your love my dear.

Your love is the greatest gift of my life
Smile of my lips and twinkle of my eyes.
Your laughter is the favorite song of mine
To hear this forever I wish to be your wife.

Poem on Terrorism in English

I wanna Meet a Terrorist

I wanna meet a terrorist
and wanna ask some questions
Don't you have a heart
or you have lost your emotions?

The city filled with screams
Don't affect your ears?
These blood stained bodies
Don't you feel fear?

You want to create terror
with your bad intentions
But in my view
you are the most coward person.

When you distribute death
How do you able to sleep?
When you burn innocent people
Don't your soul weep?

Like a puppet of others hands
You are doing your task
What’s your purpose behind this
I wanna ask.

Whether it’s religious or political goal
In my eyes you are a dead soul
Your unlawful violence and tactics
Show that you are mentally sick.

My questions are not finished
Will ask after meeting you
I am not frightened
In fact feel pity for you.

Terrorism is creating terror in the mind of people by using violent methods to achieve some goals. It is cruelest crime and a greatest threats to mankind.. Terrorists are the brainwashed people, who can’t distinguish between good and evil. First we must find out the reasons for the emergence of terrorism. If the demands of terrorists are justified and not affecting the national interest adversely then they should be conceded but if their motive is immoral and contrary to national interest then there is no question to accept it at all. Terrorism is a worldwide problem. All countries must unanimously decide to eliminate terrorism. The countries harboring terrorists should be boycotted by all other countries of the world. There is a need of quick and effective actions against terrorism. Let we work together to vanish it from the whole world and make it a better place to live. Feel free to add your views about this poem on terrorism.

Devotional Poem in English

Love in My Heart

Lord!
Your devotees bring
precious gifts for you
Gold, Silver, Diamond
and Pearl necklace
they put on you.
I am a poor lady!
brought nothing with me
But still I dared to come
in front of you.

I come to your door
with empty hands
I don't sing
any devotional song.
I am illiterate,
have no idea of heavy words
I have only feelings
that can last for long.

I am not fortunate enough
to light lamps for you
I have no offerings
to offer and please you.
I have only love in my heart
That pure love I can dedicate to you.

Poem on Teacher in English

Let’s be a Learner Forever

I’ve always been looking for a true teacher
But as I couldn’t find
I made an assumption
that It’s not easy to find a good mentor
in the present time.

But so ignorant I was
I didn't knew that everyday
I am meeting with so many teachers
Who are familiarizing me
with the untouched aspects of life.

My failures!
Aren’t they my teacher?
They always showed me my drawbacks
Where by improvement
I can climb the ladders of success.

The nature!
It is the greatest master
Links of knowledge are scattered
in each of its particle
Adding these together
make a new world of light and glare.

Every person connected to our life is our mentor
Truth is shown to us even by a traitor
Every living being we encounter
contribute to our education
We learn something new
even by every situation.

Today my search is over
I don’t need a single teacher
As I can get knowledge
even by observing myself and others
and I can learn lessons from each particle of nature.

Children, our co workers, friends, animals, plants...each and everything is offering us something to learn. Everyone who enters in our life either for few moments or for life time, he/she has at least one lesson we need to learn in our life. So we should stop, look, hear or pay attention to all these lessons. Whether something goes wrong or it goes right, we always have opportunity to learn something new that is surely very useful for our life. So let’s be a learner forever. Feel free to add your views about this poem on our teachers.
