Poem on Helping Others in English

Helping Others

By putting smile on a crying face
A smile blooms on my face too
By giving shelter to a tired traveller
Tiredness of my mind disappears too.

By giving water to a thirsty man
Desires of my heart are fulfilled
By bringing happiness in others life
The pitcher of my happiness is filled.

By encouraging frightened hearts
All my fears are disappeared
Giving emotional support to one who is upset
All my tensions get cleared.

By listening problems of others
I often forget my troubles
By solving difficulties of others
My problems turn into bubbles.

Serving others is a noble quality
That brings welfare in the society
We should share what we have to others
As it brings out the best in us.

Helping others is a great feeling
Believe me it’s really amazing
When you will help people who are in need
Satisfaction and happiness will come to you indeed.

As volunteering gives us a kind of pleasure
That self interest can never offer
So help to make this world a better place
By putting a smile on someone’s face.

Let we help others by making their day little better. Then they might do the same for others. Instead of buying a new gadget or outfit let we spend that money by making a donation. Instead of receiving gifts on our b’day let we redirect these gifts to a orphanage home. Let we teach someone a skill we know without expecting anything in return. Let we motivate the one who is in depression. Let we give our time to one who needs our love and care. Let we help to make this world a better place. Feel free to add your views about this poem on helping others.

Poem on Lord Krishna Janmashtami in English

O Krishna!

O Krishna! you promised
Whenever a decline of righteousness will prevail
You will manifest yourself personally
Today evils have spread its trap
and morality is falling rapidly.

O Krishna! can't you hear
The pain filled screams of poor
Can't you see the standing walls of hatred
Greed, lies, deceit and hypocrisy are growing day by day
So many Kansas and devils are born today.

Cows of our country are cut in slaughterhouses
Farmers are committing suicide in narrow circumstances
Journals are filled with rapes, murders and corruption
Increasing crimes are leading us towards destruction.

To stir the universal consciousness with your flute
To overthrow all the evils from their roots
To bring out our chariot wheels stuck in the slime
Please come again to held the chariot for bridle of our life.

Many Sudamas need your friendly affection
Many Draupadies are waiting to get your protection
We need you even more than before
Our society is sick and wants you to cure.

O Krishna! please come once and fulfill your promise
Light the flame of hope and fight for the justice
Please protect the religion and reestablish it in true sense
Destroy all sins and remove all pain.

You have to come for the protection of good
You have to come for the destruction of wicked
You have to come for the establishment of righteousness
You have to come to awaken our consciousness.

Lord Krishna is regarded as the 8th incarnation of Lord Vishnu. In Gita Lord Krishna promises that he will return to the physical world to re-establish the religion whenever there will be decline of righteousness and the rise of unrighteousness. The above poem is a prayer to Lord Krishna to remind him his promise as today we need him the most.

Note : This is my old creation, not much concerned with this poem today. Don’t wait for anyone. No one is coming. We just need to help ourselves to bring change in this world.
